The Academia Bilingual School outgrows the space available in the Schifferhaus in Basel-Kleinhüningen. At the end of October, Years 7 and 8 move to the second floor of Steinentorstrasse.
The Terra Nova Bilingual School in Küsnacht (ZH) expands to include secondary school teaching. Intake for Years 7 and 8 begin after the summer holidays.
Academia International School continues to grow: the English-speaking college opens its doors directly alongside the main railway station in Zurich and benefits from the expertise of its sister school in Basel, which has successfully prepared over 300 students for international qualifications (IGCSEs and A Levels) since 2010.
Change in management at the Academia Group: Dr Peter Petrin and Andreas Földényi become co-owners of Academia. Thomas Marti, the founder of Academia hands over the management to them. Dr Peter Petrin had served as president of HWZ (University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich). Andreas Földényi was owner and CEO of allegra! Sprachen & Integration and long-term human capital management consultant.
