Supported projects

Academia is committed to selected projects in the field of education with its partner organisations.

KulturLegi is an offer by Caritas, which entitles people having to live on a tight budget, to get access to more than 2500 different leisure, culture, sports, and education offers. Academia Languages and Academia Integration offer a 30 percent discount on language and basic skills courses.

A lack of know-how or experience is the biggest obstacle in many municipalities when it comes to using the opportunities of digitalisation. That is why the association “Myni Gmeind” is launching the basic course Digital Pioneer – a vocational training for representatives of municipalities. In five half-day modules, the course imparts basic knowledge about digitalisation, includes tips and tricks for the successful initiation and management of projects and offers opportunities to exchange experiences and to coach one’s own projects. The first courses will take place in spring 2022. Academia Group supports this initiative by taking over the administration and implementation of the courses. Since 2018, Academia Group has supported the “Nationaler Bildungspreis” (National Education Award), which is awarded annually to companies or organisations that have made special contributions in connection with the dual vocational education and training system in Switzerland and serve as role models throughout Switzerland. The award is sponsored by the Hans Huber Foundation and the FH SCHWEIZ Foundation and is endowed with CHF 20,000.

www.deutschunterrichten.ch is an initiative of further education providers. Its information is aimed at people who are interested in working as language course instructors in the field of integration.
