Just as we do with our students, we encourage our employees to develop their strengths. It is important to us that you are able to achieve your full potential. This includes the opportunity to change jobs internally and take on more responsibility. We support approved work-related internal and external training programmes.


Although primarily active in Switzerland, we are an international organisation through and through: our schools are attended by people from around the world and our teachers come from over 50 different countries. Men and women are represented throughout. We benefit in equal measure from the breath of fresh air that young employees bring to the organisation and from the knowledge and experience of our older staff members.

Flat hierarchies

At Academia, decisions are made where an issue arises. Each school operates independently and benefits from its knowledge of local and school-specific circumstances. Facility Management, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, ICT, Marketing & Communication and Technology, on the other hand, are provided centrally – so that every school can count on specialists with expert knowledge of these fields.
We expect all of our employees to contribute their thoughts and get involved, take responsibility for their actions and search for meaningful solutions that benefit our clients. Team colleagues will support you, as will your line managers.

Modern workplaces, central locations

Academia has outstanding IT facilities at its disposal and these are constantly updated. Our classrooms feature the latest equipment and allow a wide range of different teaching styles. We are also ideally equipped for online teaching. All of our sites are very centrally located and easily accessible.
